The “Ramazan Package” is a premium supportive fund that had started in 2012 to contribute ration necessities of low-income community members in holy month of Ramazan, so they could enjoy happiness of Eid-ul-Fitr. This package encompasses grocery items including rice, cooking oil, sugar, spices, pulses, tea, dates, milk powder and other household items in which zakat is not used along with a cash envelop of Rs. 8000/- from zakat fund. Special emphasis is given to quantity and quality of products. Approx. four hundreds (400) packages were distributed in 2023 within community as well as other approved NGOs from the Sindh government.
